Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale the services that sit at the core of the Northbridge platform. You'll work closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship reliable, well-tested systems that our customers depend on every day.

What you'll do

• + Design and build scalable backend services and APIs
• + Own the reliability and performance of core systems
• + Collaborate with product and design on new features
• + Mentor mid-level and junior engineers
• + Participate in an on-call rotation for critical services

What we're looking for

• + 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• + Strong experience with distributed systems
• + Comfort working across the stack when needed
• + Clear written communication for a remote team
